Are those tickets refundable?

Good thing there's always the Premier to go to. It's cool, just like the NIT......everyone wants to play a little longer. It just doesn't mean as much.

congrats keller dad and dbat on the win today

Like they say, "If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas"

It was a great 3 game series, lets leave the memory as that and don't start well it would have been different if this had happen.

Ken,

c'mon really? Premier is way more loaded than AABC in this region. AABC is secondary when it comes to competition. If you want to start the list of teams that missed the regional I will, but I don't think I have too. This regional is way watered down compared to the way it was 5-10 years ago. Go have a good time, but don't gloat about your winnings. congrats on the win

What a clown!

Maybe the clowniest thing you have said out of a LOT of clowny things you have said. hee-haw! hee-haw! CMWS is the brass ring and everyone knows it cept a clown like you

Tigers and Dbat rule supreme in Texas summer baseball old chap. others couldn't beat em so they took there toys and started the new and improved make believe world series. Out of years and years of trying to get to New Mexico how many premier teams have made it to the big one other than Musstangs? yup thats what I thought.

and aint it funny how the premier poster-team Mustangs keep on tryin to get there to relive days gone past yet you and rest premier boys want to bash it. How absurd. and talk about a credability killer!!! Mustangs dont even have to win there league or a state playoff to get there. They just arrange to host the regional and show up. You would think that would be an advantage!!!

**honk**

Premier world series? what a joke! Wheres the glory? the pomp? the pizzzzzaaaaaazzzzzzzz???

Winner gets to be the exalted, undisputed, grand master poo-bah, first place, a-number one, pseudo world champion of............................................. jack squat!

woo-hoo!!!!!!!! How impressive!!!!!!!!!

CMWS? gotta earn ur ticket. now that's worth bragging about!

**honk**

There are a number of teams across the country in AABC that are as good or better than the so called Premier Group. Premier has so called cherry picked from various states. Should AABC cherry pick the group will look similar or better such as:

Dallas Tigers
AZ Firebirds
CA Renegades
DBAT
LA All Stars
Bill Hood
Florida Boomers
Florida Stars
Dallas Patriots
East Cobb Yankees

I can go on and on with the cherry picking. Premier offers an additional alternative to AABC, which is all good.
I don't know who Homey the Clown is.............

But he is the .................

GRAND PRIZE WINNER..............

Any venue where earning your way is your ticket will always........always be more prestigous.

AABC = the last true venue that rewards team accomplishments with a true title in the world of amatuer baseball...........

HONK.......HONK

This I will agree with you on............

But did you ever stop and think that the fact that any 9 scally wags with a number on their back can call themselves a "select" team?

10 years ago.........our area had maybe 8-10 teams claiming the "select" affiliation.

Now..............I don't even want to start counting.

It's OK ags........the NIT tournament is good for some. Not everyone can be a AABC Regional Champion.
Why do I feel like I am listening to a Coke vs. Pepsi, Chevrolet vs. Ford, or a UT vs A&M debate. Roll Eyes

One point that hasn't been mentioned is that some of the Dallas Mustangs are former DBAT players and some of the DBAT players are former Mustang players. Others came from Tigers, Marshals, etc. Dallas is a big place....there is room for several talented teams and players. Can we not just say congrats to DBAT and leave it at that?

I am having flashbacks to last summer....didn't the AABC vs. Premier discussion get beat like a dead horse last summer?

Yep.......next week I won't be posting cause I'll be in............

FARMINGTON with my DBAT signs waiting for a foul ball to come my way.

Smile
DBAT plays PR in the 1st round.

Yes, this discussion occurs every year -- and will for eternity.

I'm glad there is no trash talk among the teams. One thing I can say is there was healthy respect between the top groups this year, with only 1-2 minor "incidents". Those make for good stories. Cool

In my opinion -- and as one that will be watching from home -- the two best 2007 Dallas teams are headed to Farmington. Several very good teams are left behind.

This Ken Guthrie guy is quite the front runner. I love how he rides the coat tails of Cade, Kermit, and 18 year old boys to have something to brag about. Saying Premier isn't as good as AABC might be right, but the Mustangs who "your team" beat to win the AABC, I believe run ruled the Midland Redskins who you just proclaimed as a great team, and also beat the East Cobb Yankees. AABC does have good teams no one argued that, but saying Premier doesn't have any good teams is incorrect. By the way, this guy the clown has way to much time on his hands.
L&C,

This Ken Guthrie guy has been a huge part of DBAT for the last several years. He's taking a break this year after he and his wife had a baby last fall. He's not riding any coat tails believe me!!

I do agree with you about Premier is a good option though. The Mustangs have been, are and will always be a very good organization. Playing Premier shouldn't take anything away from them for how good that organization is.

Why hide behind a screen name? I give you the ability to attach a real name with my comments...........

I'll pass and wait on something worth while to rebutle.

Also, I generally use factual statements when accusing another poster.........but unfortunately some would rather use false statements when trying to create a defense.

Riding those coat tails regards,

Here's a second for Guthrie's motion!

Hey Ags, shouldn't Premier mean the best teams? If so, why aren't the Tigers and DBAT and the Patriots involved? I know why...the only year the Tigers were invited to the Mustang Classic, the Tigers won...never to be asked back again. IMO this "Premier" means invite the teams the Mustangs THINK they can beat. And if those guys are telling people they did invite some of the better teams, then I guess the Tiger's invitations got lost in the mail.

BTW-congrats Tigers 16s and 18s and DBAT 18s for earning your AABC berths.
