Bum, on the flip side if you are facing 16-17 D1 or Drafted pitchers every year and your batting average is north of 400 that cannot be ignored.

but, quite often, the college HC/RC won't know that. And most often, they don't know the HS HC well enough to have that conversation.
TPM, my bad. I assumed the skills part was implied. Gotta agree hard work is only valuable to get to the next level by first having skills. Bum, HR's and K's are two stats that are harder to fabricate.
