Lets go guys we still haven't heard from from the Tigers, Pats, Blackhawks, Panthers, ETC... Come on guys lets us know what are you charging?

Hey Newguy,

Why is it such a big deal to you that they publicly post costs, (which, as said above, varies based on the cost and number of tournaments for a particular team)? Why do you feel that you, (or everyone), has a right to this information whether they are interested in joining organization or not? Seems to me you have a right to know only if your kid is determining whether he wants to play for organization, after he has been chosen as a potential player. There is some other agenda here that I don't understand.
Once again, why would we let the facts get in the way of the truth?

I coach a 15U Tigers team that has 14 players and 1 PO. It is less than $1500 and that includes 9 tournaments, 4 out of town, 1 12 game league schedule and an invaluable summer with me. A bargain at any price. Ask Gut and Catcher. My kids do not pay $500 to wear the shirt. They do buy there own uniforms and travel.
HRKB got it right. If you like the man you play for then pay. If not, change teams and find you a bargain deal. This organization bashing is exhausting without merit or cause. Especially from those that like to hide behind a CB handle.

Separate post to follow.

Vanlandingham, there is a Tiger club fee, for 15u and up it was 350.00 last year. Not only that but it was due by February 15th! So don't ever say its included, its not. It is totally separate, you pay it first to tommy, and then you can start playing on Memorial day. A close friend told me their fees last year on the 15u's was 2100.00. Did not include travel or uniforms. Uniforms were 175.00. Thats a total of 2,625.00 for seven weeks of baseball. Like someone said earlier, pay it or go play some where else. Your kids did pay the 350 fee and they paid it way up front and totally separate from the summer fees. Thats what the tigers do.
LUVTXBALL:

1st of All: Who are you?

2nd of All: I can only speak for my team. The others aren't my business.

3rd of all: You are wrong. We did not pay the club fee before May. That is a FACT!!!!

4th of all: It IS included in the $1,500 to play for me. (Uniforms are not)

5th of All: Obviously you think my comments are dishonest, so let's get together and talk about it. I have nothing to hide.

Once again, I can't speak to the other Tiger teams. All I can do is share how it goes on my club. Maybe I should ask some "close friends". It sounds to me like I need to raise my rates.
Van, just speaking the facts, ask the team manager last year of the 15u team that you took over this year, when the 350 was due. It was due early for all teams. I had a son that played for a jr high tigers team last year. I guess you had special dispensation from tommy. I don't think you are being dishonest, I'm just wondering why everyone else had to pay up front?
Hey I am starting a new organization and it's only going to cost $700 per player but that doesn't include Uniforms, bags, league fees, tournament fees, coaches fees, and travel.

I can understand why you guys say fees don't include travel. But why not include everything else. Like uniforms??? Just give a flat rate and stop trying to hide stuff. Don't you get mad when you go rent a car and you are told the price is $200 and when you go to pay it is $300 because of some hidden fees?
Well,
If you're going to throw out phrases like "special dispensation", then I am extremely over matched and will bow defeat.

I didn't take over last year's team. That is my son and he is much smarter than me. Ask Catcher.

Quote from Miracle:
Eruzione, you worry about you're own game. There's plenty there to keep you busy.

With my insufficient intellect, I have enough problems to not have to worry about others.

I am still confused as to why the amount that you pay is such an issue. I think everyone has the opportunity to analyze the cost and make a judgment as to whether it is in their best interest or not. But that's just my simple mind. I will adhere to Herb Brooks' philosophy.

Some car shoppers find value in a Kia, others find value in a Mercedes Benz. And there are many variations in between those extremes. Why can't you come to grips with that.

For the Tigers, I'll tell you why uniforms are not included...it's easier. They have a retail store you can go to and get exactly what you want. Trying to coordinate that for a team is a nightmare. Some kids want 3-4 pairs of pants, others want 1. Seems like a good approach to say, just go here and buy what you want.
