Best Camp that don't give catchers short shrift?
15 yo, only been playing ball for four years, catching for two. He's a wall behind the plate, coachable, and as a bonus, can hit. Since he was a late-comer to baseball, he attended a few camps. He did learn quite a bit. Now that he's primarily a catcher, he'd like to do a camp that concentrates more on those position-specific skills. HS coaches aren't much good on instucting, and son needs a better throw. Florida Baseball Camp has been recommended, but perhaps y'all have other thoughts?

Standard Camp Invite or Genuine Interest
I didn’t know whether to add this question to the “Define Recruited” thread or one of the many camp invite discussions. So, I started a new topic since many of the camp advice topics precede the recent rule change regarding contact before Sept. 1st of junior year. My son, a 2021, received a DM on Twitter from an assistant coach inviting him to an upcoming prospect camp. It was specifically a camp invite saying their staff would love for him to attend the camp and they were looking forward to...

Stanford Camp v. Duke Camp, Summer 2018
Hello! My 2020 attended both the Stanford All Star Camp and the Duke University Elite Camp this summer. I just wanted to write a little bit about each camp and his experience there, based on what I saw and my conversations with my son. TL;DR version? The Stanford experience was better. Camp Reports: Univ. of Oregon and High Point University (NC)
A quick summary of two camps my 2020 RHP (PO) attended over the past two months. I thought that both were very good. University of Oregon: One day camp for all positions. Outdoors. The weather was a bit chilly but in the sun was very nice. The quality of the campers attending was good. I didn't see anyone that clearly did not belong -- which is not to say that all were D1 prospects, just to say that all looked like decent high school baseball players. The campers were given UO baseball...

College One Day Camps?
I'm thinking about signing my son up for a few colleges' one day camps. They seem to be all over the board with how they are run, and I'd like to get an idea as to what to expect, specifically for pitchers. We recently did the San Jose State camp and it was a TOTAL disappointment. They didn't bother to hand out shirts or pinnies with numbers on them, although they had asked for the attendee's shirt size when we signed up. So if you showed up with just a plain black shirt, expecting they...

Throwing 2 days in a row
Hi guys, I have a question about camps such as headfirst and Ivy's. do they make pitchers throw two days in a row? I am a pitcher and I have arm issues that make it nearly impossible to throw two days in a row. I can throw as many innings as I want one day, but splitting those innings up into 2 days just hurts my arm too much. I have read online that camps make kids throw 2 days in a row and I was wondering if any of you had any experience with it. Thank you

Stanford 1 vs Stanford 2?
Pretty obvious why folks prefer Stanford 1 and why it's already (mostly) booked up. It's residential, more talks and activities, meals - just a more complete college baseball camp experience for the kid, and for not that much more money. But is there any benefit to attending Stanford 2 instead? Fewer kids? Different coaches?

Good Showcases/Camps
I created this thread to list some of the cheaper more better options for players coming up that want to get better and spread their name. I have invited to many showcases in the last few years, but many of them seem like a waste of time and to much money saying that most of them came during my freshman year. Most of the invites came because of interest in a left handed catcher. I think a lot of kids are getting invited to some of these showcases in camps just to bring in a little money to...
