What about Forney? Mabank lost C. Browing, Terrell loses Jackson, Red Oak loses Kissenger and Currey. Poteet loses Doe. Did W. Mesquite lose the Tyra kid? Several good players won't be back next year.

terrell also lost logan smith who was all-district at 3B but will play OF in college as well as their starting ss. they have 1 returning pitcher that is pretty good but i can't remember his name. i believe tyra is a 2010 and has one more year at west. forney was very young this year and will be much better with blackmon and jeffrey returning on the mound and may be a real force if tom gladney takes the HC position. not real sure what mabank has returning but they may be strong enough to over take terrell for a playoff position.

Concerning Poteet in 2010: A friend informed me that they lose 4 contributors this year- Doe(D1),Snyder & Stone(NAIA), Riley(JUCO). They have some solid starters returning, but if the report of the Latino twins moving in is true- they should continue to battle for the district. Anyone know if coach Doe is staying at Poteet?

goode will step up and replace snyder on the mound. moody will move in from center and play short or 2B. will have trouble replacing doe's bat and leadership. as far as coach doe goes...i'm not even sure he knows at this point. not sure what we will do at third and the other MIF spot. i'm hoping the 2 move ins can play there. what have you heard beast?

I really haven't heard to much.There was a family looking at a house on my street yesterday that is for sale and they had Heath Hawk stickers all over there car. The mom said her son was going to be a sophomore. Thats all I know. We should win a playoff spot next year.

Mabank will certainly miss Mr. Browning and we wish him the very best in D1 land. We do have a late last year transfer (will be Jr) who looked good on the mound (Blake ???) and we have an incoming freshman LH who speed wise was close to Browning but will probably need some seasoning.

Beast, yes it was. Someone did not do there job on that one but still looks respectable and should not be any eligibility problems in the comming season.

Hey thats great. Blake is a big strong kid. He played on my son's summer team a few years back. Is He going to play football for Mabank?

Yes, he was in the spring Green/White game. He needs to get more familiar with the offense but should be an asset here also.

Aren't all the moms from Heath hot Beast, I think that's now a requirement to move to Heath. Those Home Owner Associations are getting strict..
