Eddie Gaedel batted for the St. Louis Browns, now the Baltimore Orioles. He wore the ballboy's uniform, Bill DeWitt, now managing partner for the St. Louis Cardinals, with the number 1/8.
Here's some useless baseball trivia that may help you in a Trivial Persuit game ragarding the Baltimore Orioles. In the late 1800's, originally a National League team (John McGraw) played for them. Shut down after 1899. Became an American League franchise in 1901 (managed by McGraw) and in 1903 moved to New York (called the Highlanders) and later (in 1913) became the Yankees. Great book by Frank DeFord (The Old Ball Game) about that era, which is good reading during rain delays.
