Brian Anderson is working hard. I see him everywhere.

Radford has basically let it be known that they will not be out-hustled or beat to the punch. Anderson, Werman, Olivieri and Raccuia have been all over everywhere.

They have something good going on and as kids learn about it, it's not hard to impress them with the opportunity.

Sean Kennedy (LHP; N. Stafford, VA) has reportedly verbaled to Virginia Tech according to Perfect Game's player profiles.

Another Canes North kid commits...

Connor Henderson (Bethel INF) committed to William & Mary. Connor will have an opportunity to step in right away and contribute.

I've had the privilege of coaching Connor for the last 5 years. It couldn't happen to a better kid. Connor is an extremely hard worker and comes from a great family. Congrats!

I read in the Virginian Pilot today that outfielder Brian Beard from Great Bridge has committed to Old Dominion. He is the first player to commit to Coach Finwood's team. Hopefully now that he has committed, more players will follow him to ODU. Congrats to Brian and his family!

Seriously, though, W&M seems to be doing very well.

In addition to the recruits (congrats to all recruits!), the new W&M asst coach looks to have a very solid background as a player and coach.

Presumably. But I know it was part of Connor's decision making process. To my knowledge, they haven't recruited many corner guys.

Yes, they are now fully funded.

Chase Boster, pitcher from Colonial Forge, has committed to Marshall! Several other commmitments coming!

Congrats to Jesse Smith OF (2012- Lee Davis) committing last week to D1 UMBC.

Jesse played this Summer for Donnie Phillips RBAWEST ELITE Team. Jesse makes the 6th D1 committment for his team.

Congrats to Mike Carpenter RHP (2012- Cosby) committing last week to D1 VCU.

Mike is a new player for Donnie Phillips RBAWEST ELITE Team. VCU saw him at our tryouts last week and threw 91mph and offers started to fly!!! Mike makes the 7th D1 committment for his team the last 3 months.

I may have missed the post but Matthew Reed C (2012 - Woodgrove) committed to play ball at Clemson.

Excellent arm behind the plate with strong defensive abilities. Has the ability to be a big stick at Clemson in the future.

From what I've read about Josh Henderson, if this is true it's a real nice get for Liberty. I know that the family places a high priority on their faith (Josh's brother is an FCA rep in Richmond). So, I'm guessing that's a huge part of the draw for Liberty. Regardless, congrats to Josh and Coach Toman.
