A&M Consolidated Tourney:
The Woodlands College Park HS 6, Huntsville 0
Mike Dimitroff pitches 5 innings allowing only two hits and Brett Hardinbrook twirls the final two innings of the shutout.

College Park jumped to a quick 4-0 lead in the first and never looked back behind the strong pitching and some good defensive plays by Viron Hackney and Austin Pruitt.

Coppell 12 Northwest 5 and it wasn't that close. De La pitched 5 strong innings but tired a little in the 6th. NW made a few fielding errors that didn't help there cause. Coppell's bats were working tonight. NW looks like they have some athletes but they could string together the needed hits.

I know Fossil Ridge beat Keller Central in the early game but I'm not sure of the score, 8-5?

Heath is a solid 4A team. I think that as a team(jesuit) we went in thinking that a 4A team that hasnt had a varsity team yet, we thought that we were gunna woop their butts. But they could hit the ball very well but pitching wasnt so hot.

During the Midland Lee/Rider game I thought I was at a Perfect Game Showcase, outstanding baseball and I counted at least 21 radar guns going up on the Midland Lee pitcher..... The Rider LHP was just as impressive.....

Arlington Seguin drops their first game against Wylie in MISD Tourney 7-5 we kicked the ball around a bit 5 errors, but give Wylie credit they hit the ball well and their pitcher kept us off balance for a good portion of the game before we strung together 5 runs in the sixth. Seguin came back in the nightcap against host McKinney to win a very competitive well played game by both sides 4-3 behind the pitching of Bobby Joe Barrett and HR'S a three run shot by BJ Barrett and Solo shot by Austen Wilschetz. The catcher for McKinney had a solo homerun in the sixth. Andrew Goodman came in and got the save by retiring the side in the seventh. Got interesting after that for a brief moment when one of the "ladder crew" decided he would hop the fence and go streakin! Pretty funny to see that kid try to scale that metal fence on the way back out naked as the day he was born

lamar had an ugly win over permian last night at the hebron field. ended tied 10 - 10 but i guess lamar had more runners at third base so they got the win. lamar lead throughout the game with the help of two HR's by buechele (1 two runs and the other three runs) Lamar plays frisco today and hebron tonight.

See you today screwball (assuming your from Lamar) maybe we can finally get it going today, we just keep dropping these close ballgames...Good luck

Saginaw H.S. played thier first game as a varsity team (no senior class) last night in san Antonio losing a heartbreaker to Brackenridge 2 to 1 saginaw gave up an unearned run to lose it late. Taylor Gerhart went 7 innings giving up 3 hits and 11K's.

They will play Heath twice next Thursday and Friday in a battle of seniorless teams.
