Thanks Texan -- it was your scouting report. Smile

By the way, DTiger -- Jesuit is immaculate (without the conception or the reception) -- one of the best venues we have played on all summer. You owe it an apology.

Tell me your kidding PD.... seriously? Maybe they redid the field. I would love it if they did. You could still be kidding around.

They redid the dirt -- it's top notch. But PantherSon made an error at 3rd base --- a bit of a turf hop that he misplayed -- his first e in 48 games (shameless promotion!). I'd better push him back into the bowling alley.

Cool
Texan - Congrats to DBAT on beating the Hackers. DBAT has a fine organization - as my son's team found out last week in the 18/U AABC State final against them.

Best wishes to Trey Warder and his Hacker team in the losers bracket. Ya never know! However, a run rule drubbing is not a good indicator. The only good news is they probably would not have to face DBAT again unless they make the finals.
Contrary to your earlier suggestion, DTiger, DBAT will not "yawn" through anything today or tomorrow. The Patriots are a fine team -- we have had two good games against them this season. Despite being 1-0-1 versus the Pats, we have great respect for this team and they will not be overlooked. This game has been on our radar screen for several weeks -- the Patriots can beat anyone. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win....our guys made too many last night.

Looks like Rockwall is a shoe-in for state next year following tradition upheld by move-out. Grass is greener north.... MISTAKE

That would be great if it happened and I wouldn't be more happy for Coach Payne. If ML leaving Rockwall would mean a state tournament run for Rockwall, I would be elated.

Hopefully both teams will do well and we can all have a blast next June in Round Rock. Wouldn't that be cool?

As far as the grass being greener.....that really had nothing to do with our move.......I just wasn't happy with my job, needed more money and found a great job that I'm loving here in McKinney for a lot more money. That's all there is to it. I hope everyone there understands that. Please, no sour grapes!!

Good luck to you and the Rockwall program.

HE'd be playing for the GIANTS by far the most talented team in Dallas. He would just move where the grass is greener.$$$$

I'm not sure what you're implying.....but apparently you haven't seen DBAT play lately. Didn't DBAT beat you guys to end the season and win the BBI Premier league? Talk about talent.....man, they've got it!
Can I chime in and add that the 10 man Tiger roster can go up against anybody. We aint pretty (literally and figuratively), but we get it done... and that's what it's all about. Like I said, I think the Tigers and DBAT could play eachother every game next year, each game would be close, each game would be greatness, and I'll get to refamiliarize myself with their lineup Big Grin.
