The owner has made statement that the ordeal is over. He stood behind Williams (sort of when he said it should have been handled differently). The sad part is that Williams lost it and told LaRoche his son could not come back to the clubhouse. That was it. FWIW, owners who pay millions to players don't want their front office upsetting the apple cart.
I want to know why the GM didn't handle it with Ventura and LaRoche. Its Ventura's clubhouse.
The opportunity for the 25th spot probably will go to a prospect who is on the 40. They probably will leave one spot open and see who is released from camp next week.
But it doesn't matter, they will never win in their division.
