I would like to thank everyone for voting me Coach of the Year. I am so blessed and excited to recive such an award by this panel.

I plan on receiving this award in Colorado at the end of the tournament. DBAT GM I wish you would be around to present it to me but I am sure your train left days before the tournament ended.

I won't get started on the cheerleader (OBN) comment but I like it!!!

I'm not really allowed to devulge the entire process but Def POY award came as a result of your always caring heart that goes out to the posters that might be getting a little heat from others concerning their opinions. Second Team selections were announced today but will not be posted until Monday. 88 phone calls from parents of posters that felt their off spring was deserving. Might have to have a third team as well and if you're not mentioned, feel free to claim Honorable Mention.

I want to thank all my teammates for this honor. Thanks to the great defense and the great run support I have been given this year.

A side comment -- seems to me that Train should have won the most "Offensive" award -- that is, before his recent mellowing.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. There's always gonna be second guessing from the masses. Weren't you a first teamer? Get back in the back seat and shut up!

I agree, doc, as the 1st team Bat Boy, I have noticed PD's bat lacking the pop of some of the other 1st teamers.

I agree completely....In HS sometimes a kid bats 8th or 9th and lights it up his junior year and then there's a huge fall off when placed in those 3 spots. Got to have bread on both sides of that butter. Congrtas to the 3 hole and 5 hole as well. They earned everything they got. Whats next? You going to Omaha to scout? Let me know.
