Well, the Bull won the series avatar bet so here I am wearing this "anteater". Yuck! 
I took an extended vacation over the holiday weekend without the computer for a change, so this is the first opportunity I've had to make good on my bet. 
The games were very close. Cal Poly won the first game 2-1. In the top of the 9th, after giving up a lead-off double and possible tying run, Cal Poly's pitcher makes a spectacular fake throw to 2B. Both the 2B & SS should get acting credits for their performances as they sold it by diving for the "overthrown" ball ... just enough to get UC Irvine's pinch runner to commit to 3rd. Our pitcher then threw the ball for the pick-off ... Priceless.
The second game was also a close one with a 3-4 loss. Just left too many on base to get the job done. The final game that decided the series was a 1-4 loss. Starter had a bad day, giving up 4 in the first 2 innings and that's all it took. Some great baseball with UC Irvine being the better team .... that day! 
As for meeting the famous Bullwinkle ... well, I really tried! He was probably wearing his camouflage shorts or something!
I looked all over the stadium but not one moose I ran into admitted to being him! 
I guess he is really the shy type after all.

snout? I have been thinking about rhinoplasty....oh I get it, you cut and pasted a repulsive balding white dude on my good-looking yet diminutive noggin.
I also know why you did it.....Bullwinkle was getting all the attention, you wanted all the viewers to notice your cute smile and fashionable (and may I say... hip) sunglasses. tisk....tisk....tisk Your ego may just get the better of you.

BTW: RHP05Mom, you really look fabulous in blue and gold....The blue matches your eyes and the gold makes your highlights in your hair pop. The green you normally wear makes your skin a little patsy, your spring skin tone really looks better with the blue. Here's personal color palette you might want to work with.

Oh Bull...winkle! After being worn by a moose this avatar is totally gross! It's making me crazy, I can hardly wait to shed the thing!

You wear it well. And I am sure it doesn't smell nearly as musky as the moose-wear you had to adorn.
If memory serves me correctly (and painfully), I too had to endure the musky moose attire last season. Since the teams have identical conference records now (but hardly identical non-conference records), it will be interesting to see if Mr Moose has to wear Dodger blue and gold or navy blue and gold after the UCR/UCI series.

Best of luck to the Highlanders when they play the Anteaters at the end of this month. Hopefully the Moose will not make himself scarce. You are more than welcome to try the Dirtbag scent to draw him out.
