Is it just me

Depends on what level your scouting for maybe? And who were (if you don't want to tell I understand) the top two teams. All I've got to say is FM has some coming prospects in the next few years. Tall and talented

Who are you scouting?

There are plenty of potentials in the Metroplex.

When someone says they are are a scout I would think they meant for a MBL team. I am not a glorified select team scout.

I just wanted to here from some of the die hards if there are any sleepers out there.

Perhaps you mean MLB rather than MBL?

If you don't know the DFW major league prospects -- I'm not sure we can help you much -- most of us have never played the game beyond HS. Check with your team and they'll provide a list. Other than the '07 kids -- there are probably only 2-3 2008 players that are genuine draft prospects at this point in time -- one is a lefty in FW. Others will reach that point soon enough.

Ken -- can you help this guy out? KG -- our kidding is good-natured, of course.

There's two freshman out there one at McKinney and one at Flower Mound that you might want to watch out for over the next couple of years.

There's a freshman at Richland that pitched a perfect game last Friday against Haltom. Time will tell but I think he's going to be the real deal.

I wasn't clear. The Freshman that pitched a perfect game pitches for the Freshman team. Either way, a PG is a PG! He's right handed.

I want to tell everyone about my nephew...a 2nd grader who hit a homerun in T ball last night.

He is going to be a first rounder in the years to come. Stay tuned.

Speaking of t-ball......my soon-to-be five year-old went 3-4 last night in his first t-ball game.

He also led the team in rock throwing while in the field.

Bartolo Colon says his arm strength came from throwing rocks.

Freshman kid was the starting pitcher for Grapevine against Keller last night. He only allowed 2 hits in 4 or 5 innings.

I did not ask this question to start a bash post. It was an honest question. Patherdad I wish I would have thought to ask my org. for a list. Thanks for the advice. I have a list of every kid in the area that is already a prospect. I am looking for a few late bloomers and unknowns. That is what makes us good. I have the same list as everyone else. Everyone thanks for the help.

Congrats to the Richland fish! A perfect game is a perfect game, unless he is a varsity level pitcher throwing against younger kids, this is a tremedous feat. This is the HS baseball web, let's not discount a no-hitter because it is sub-varsity. He was asked to toe the rubber -- he did so "perfectly" in this game -- rare and special.
