the point of my arguement is that I dont understand why we even use metal

if i remember correctly, that was the first big reason for metal bats. one bat lasted forever. (i think it did really help with school budgets).then we didn't have enough trees.
i think as with most things, it comes down to money. the metal guy's have enough of it to squash most wood rally's. i like the grass root idea of everyone just start using wood. but,there will always be someone that wants the metal advantage.
