As itsinthegame said, I am so thankful for the moderators who keep this site sane! Many members might be surprised at just how much they do to keep things relatively "clean" here.

PGStaff this sounds like excellent advice:

"Professional message boards are probably the most cruel of all message boards. The higher the level the more cruel the fans become. I suggest parents only look at them after son has a good game."

It does seem like fans feel like they have a right to trash the big boys who are getting paid...even if they have just one bad day. Even at that stage it still has to hurt as a parent!
Coach May,
funny you mntioned the Jupiter incident. I too had a coach from the ACC ask me how many of my HSBBW friends I had run into over the weekend. He said he reads it (lurks ) to gather information, read about players and at times just get a feel for the folks thoughts on new items.

I have been on local blogs (as TR can attest to) where no one is accountabvle for what they write and it's true a disgrace. Kids are ripped apart by people with no name and nothing more then an agenda.

If you say it, own up to it.

I know a coach who drops in to read, just to see what parents are thinking these days. BTW, been told that we do such a good job with advice, recruiting has become a bit tougher! Wink

Coach Merc,

You are right, if you say it own up to it.
Hey Coach Merc,

Great to see you here. Mike's coming home on Saturday for Thanksgiving week and all is well with him. How's Joe out there at Illinois? Bet you can't wait until next week to get him home.

I need to pick your brain sometime over the winter. AJ is 14 now and 6-1, 185. Could use your take on a plan for him since he's way ahead of MJMJr. at the same age. I'll ask specifics when I get some time to put things together. You're tuned in better than I am and can use help.

Hope all is well.

MJM
