Hitting a grand slam on that stage, can't imagine it getting much better than that. Is Ryan any kin to Jesse from Hebron? If so, remembering back to the old 9-4A days, talent must really run deep in the Payne family!

Beast, thanks a bunch; he is such a great kid. Some D-1 college is going to get a very good player with excellent character.

Yeah he is a pretty good kid. I am thankful that little beast gets to play ball with him.
Actually SWAC I call him John most of the time.

There are alot of great kids on this DBAT team and Brett is definitely one of them. They all seem to know their role and have a part to play in the team's success, including the mom's there who are pushing the fluids and doing the laundry!!! I'm grateful for that! DBAT takes on the Renegades at 8pm. tonight.

Sorry to be the thorn in the DBAT love fest, but YOUR McKinney Marshals beat the Dallas Tigers 7-2 behind a complete game from C Brooks and 3 RBI's from C Durham...

Unfortunately I am not able to be out in Arizona for this tournament, but I am in contact with about 10 people who are. There is no question that Texas is very well represented out there!

I had the pleasure of coaching several players from Texas on the AABC team at the Tournament of Stars the past couple years who are out there (Swagerty, Turley, Walsh, etc). Not only are the good players, but good respectful young men as well. Other then when they are playing our Braves, I wish these guys luck.

D-Bat is rolling right now and will have Turley well rested soon. They are going to be tough to beat!

I'm glad that this forum is jumping as it gives me another way of following what's going on out there.

It is with deeep regret that i report that YOUR McKinney Marshals 17U were defeated by the SoCal Renegades today 15-7. It was a great experience for us and we will be back next year to give it another shot...Good Luck to DBAT and to the rest
of the clubs in Phoenix...
