I bought this program a while and have done it on and off for the last few months. Now exactly 8 weeks till baseball season I will do the program exactly as prescribed (Advanced workout). I am currently on my second week. I am 5'9" 135 lbs and throw low to mid 70's. If Jon's statements such as "add 8-12 mph in 8 weeks" are true, and my fastball is sitting in the low 80's by tryouts I will never say anything against the program ever again. If these claims are true I will think of the UB program as an expensive waste of time and will ask for a refund.

Not to mention that Jon says that his clients see those kinds of gains. The clients that he gets to supervise and make sure that they are doing the program at the right intensity and with the right form. Many times people think that they are pushing themselves, but they haven't even scrathced the surface. I know that the times in my life that I have been in the best shape are the times that I had a good workout partner/personal trainer/sadistic coach that pushed me to the limit. If the program doesn't give you the gains you are looking for, be sure you are blaming the right person.

I am not trying to put you down in any way, but if I was in your shoes, and I had the UB program for a few months, I would have been doing the program for a few months. as my coach used to say, you have to pay the price...

Good luck to you and keep us posted

On the website it says that the UB abs can add 7-10 mph in 60 days -- it doesn't say anything about having to be a "client"

As for my diet I probablly wont be abl;e to post every day. It is basically good. I eat a lot of granola ceral fruits and yougurt. I never drink soda and drink a lot of milk (probablly 4-5 8 oz glasses a day). I rarely have dessert for dinner and never have it for breakfast and lunch. I eat fruit smoothies pretty much too. I dont take any supplements other than a vitiman C one and a regular multi vitiman.

I lift weights, run track (middle distance) and throw pretty much (400ish pitches per week). Today is the 2nd day of the second week of doing the UB abs program.
I recentaly learned that i wouldn't make the regional meet so now im just practicing with the team so I can switch to sprints. On the Distance team we did mostly 400's, 800's and 1600's. As a sprinter now I am going to do mostly 20's 40's 55's 100's 200's and a few 300's or 400's. I am now going to do a 3 mile jog once a week or so.

I will try to get some whey but im not gonna use the creatine. There have been reports of certain side effects that would make me leery of taking it.

I have two questions. Is whey just concentrated protien
and
How long of doing the program before you started seeing noticable results?

Try also getting on some Whey Protien and Creatine. Most all players I know use whey protien.

Im sure this program works, because Ive had friends buy this and Ive seen their results

Keep working at it!!!!!

Unless you have some really, really good information on creatine, please don't recommend it to anyone, especially not to people under 18.

The reason I state this is based on a report conducted by an M.D. who has no motivation to judge creatine one way or the other:

Please understand I don't mean to berate or offend your post ... just want everyone to know all the facts when it comes to this supplement, which at this point is very questionable in terms of helping or hurting an athlete.

Very questionable...?

It's as clear as it can be as far as supplements go.
