Team Loyalties (or lack of)

We lost a player in 12U travel basketball. Another team took him to the mall and spent $2,000 on him. His mother didn't think it was ethical. His father was all for it. I wonder what kind of bribes the father will arrange for the kid in college. The kid is a stud at fourteen. My basketball IQ was cut in half when he left our team. I was brilliant with him on my team. I hope the BS doesn't turn his head.
