Didn't Arod give a few mill to fix up Mark Light? Where's the money?
I don't expect every ACC school to look like Clemson, FSU, UVA or UNC. My comment was about coach letting them out of the dugout for concession drinks before a game. Don't they serve their players drinks? JMO.
Mark Light was a big improvement over my last visit. They have changed the seating and added much more, the field was beautiful. At night the backdrop of lighted buildings in Miami was very nice and reminded me of Tech, which is pretty impressive at night to see all of those buildings lit up as you look out past the outfield. Behind the new stadium will be elevators and new press boxes, done in the next phase, along with the new concession stands. I think ARod donated 3.5 mil for improvements, which are only half done. There is no wall as the backstop, which pitchers and players found distracting, a clear advantage to those pitchers who see it all of the time.
Have to remember this is a city based campus, not one way out in the country with more space. They only have so much space to work with. I do feel that the improvements will help in recruiting and bring more fans in to see the games.

I was a little surprised Miami only drew about 2,000 per game.
TPM: The only time in my son's three years of collegiate baseball that he was "served a drink" was when he was layed out with a leg cramp...they gave him an alka seltzer!
