A Tournament question

I saw in my local area that there will be a tournament around the end of our season and also another near spring break in the Kingsport/Bristol area of TN. I was wondering if my 8th grade high school team could enter the 14U section of this USSA tournament. I know its kinda of a stupid question but not really sure about tournaments/showcases. Any help could help.

Good USSSA travel teams are comprised of some of the best players for miles around. A school team would probably get thumped in this environment. It takes at least eight pitchers to be successful in these tournaments. Most school teams lack this kind of pitching depth.

Your team would have to register as a USSSA member which is less than $100. The expense is the $500-700 tournament fee. Schools usually have their year budgeted out in advance. You would probably have to raise the money yourselves.
