Nice presentation by Major League Baseball....although I wish they would have included Hank Aaron in some of the pre-game stuff.

Mays and Aaron were two of the greatest players in the history of the game. I would include Mantle who played during the same time.

Overall, very nice job and kudos to the Giants organization and Major League Baseball.

While Mays deserves all the accolades...

I believe part of the reason why it was Mays alone was that it was in San Francisco and they wanted to specifically honor the Giant players: Mays (pregame all-star game) and McCovey (pregame home-run Derby).

I agree I was disappointed that Marichal was not inlcudied ina bigger way, those of us who saw him pitch know that he was one of a kind. But I don't think that baseball will ever get over the bat incident, though the parties involved have.

I am certain that the next time the game is in Atlanta Aaron will be in that position. Same for Mantle. Seems to be a well deserved trend.

Should have had Willie catch it over the shoulder, and then throw it...

By the way anybody catch the pregame interview where Mays recounted his favorite all time Mays catch?....Did you see the video?....OH MY GOD...At that speed?...Into a classic gray chain link fence (no padding, plastic cover on the screen)?...Over AND through another outfielder?...In a day when few if anyone did those things?

...Beyond belief
