1996 - Game 4 between the New York Yankees and the home-standing Atlanta Braves. It was the next-to-last game played in Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. Yankees tied the series 2-2 with their 10th-inning win.
i've been a very fortunate red sox fan.with some good friends with connections. all playoff/ws at fenway in 86. alcs in 87.front row home run derby 99. ws 04 and 07.
funny thing.my sons never sat worse than 3rd row box seats, until they had to buy their own tickets. thats when they appreciated dads friends.

Made it to a Astros/White Sox World Series game in Houston in 2005.
Bought tickets to tonights game....and gave them to my son and his college baseball teammates (and yes, they are in the cheapseats)....

Took my son (now a 2014) to Game 2 of 2006 World Series here in Detroit (Kenny Rogers "pine tar" game) - miserable weather, but great memories forever! $$$ well spent...
