Well,Im almost positive Im not the only player who has to work here(payments for the car),so how would you guys say you balance Work,School,Baseball, and some religion into your weekly schedule.

I will be quite honest, its been one week since school started, and the most sleep I got on any one night was 6 hours because of homework and work.

its gonna be a long year

Its not affecting my game to have a job at all.Infact,it only helps.

I work at a local gym as a health and fitness floor desk guy(clean machines, wash towels,etc...easy stuff)and you are aloud to lift during working hours,so its an awesome job to have.I got to cancell my gym membership at another one I had been going to because now I can work out for free.

While I don't have a job, I'm at a school that is deffinately more rigerous academically than most. Last year was my freshmen year, and 3hrs. of HW every day was expectable. Apparently, I'll have much more this year. It's deffinately about using all of your time wisely. The best advice a senior ever gave me was use the weekends (which for me is saturday evening and sunday) for the essays/long term projects, that way the week can be devoted to purely your night to night stuff but more importatnely preparing for the tests.
AKBaseball- an hour a night? Wow, you're lucky. I'm lucky if I can spend 2 hours doing all the HW, and that's on the best of nights. As for the car/work situation, the money isn't the issue for me but I just home after a week of vacation and found that Hurricane Ernesto did quite a bit of damage to some of the older big trees in my lawn, and now my car has no windshield and only half a roof
How dont you do homework in class.lol

I go to an IB high school. It made the newsweek top 100 American High Schools. My day is full of AP classes and other challenging courses.I highly doubt anyones high school can be so tough, that you dont have a that one class thats easier to do homework in.I know I do,and most everyone does.

You can still pay attention, and do homework.Just ask my 3.8 GPA
: )
I'm in honors classes at my school (we dont have AP's becasue we're private) and our classes (especially english, history, latin, and french) are very class-disscussion based (you actually get graded on your daily participation in some classes) and if you do your homework, no way you can be effective in class.
