My son's 2010 voodoo had the knob come off. The coaches said to glue it back on. Anybody have experience with repairing bats? Hate to buy another $200+ bat that will be legal for only 50-60 more games. Thanks!

Use a teammate's bat for the rest of the season.
My son cracked his bat about a week ago. He's using a wood bat in practice and a teammate who has the exact bat is letting him use it during games. That might be your best solution.
The knob or end cap? Glue the end cap back on with some high strength epoxy. Never heard of a knob coming off!

My son's CF4 had the knob break off during a swing. I was able to send it back to DeMarini. They said they'd fix it or replace it.
Turns out they fixed it. Not sure how but we haven't had any problems since.

There should be a warranty on the bat if it's in a certain time period. Those bats are known to break easy.
If you tell Demarini the bat has been used in weather under sixty degrees they will say you violated the warranty. Players on my son's high school team gave up on Demarinis after breaking several in cold weather over two high school seasons. My son busted the knob off his bat a few years ago. No matter how we reattached it, it kept breaking off.
Might as well get the BBCOR bat as well now to get ready for next year!

Son had his one year old (no warranty) Voodoo crack across the barrel in a HS scrimmage last year in below 50 degree weather. It killed me to have to buy him a new bat for one season. He is now in college using the BBCOR bats.
My advise would be to find a new BESR bat! There is THAT much of a difference.
This was the first page that came up when I googled Voodoo broken knob and of course there was nothing here. Upon further research I found a place that replaced my son's out of warranty voodoo knob https://www.bigdawgbatrolling.com/knob-repair.htm No where else could I find someone to do it. It has been solid a solid fix; just thought I would share.

Eleven years later, we finally have some closure...
I was gonna suggest some of Jobu's whiskey to fix the broken voodoo, or maybe a dead chicken.
I had to double check the dates, especially after the suggestion to find a new BESR bat... Holy thread necro, Batman.

Just FYI for anyone from this decade who cares... In addition to some kinda suspect things like bat rolling and shaving, they actually do fix knobs and end caps. I didn't find many (any) other places online which do this. I used them to replace an end cap. Voila. Like new
