Catchers reading hitters' tendancies

Can anyone offer up good advice or reference material to use in teaching a catcher to evaluate a batter's swing, with the hope of identifying holes or deficiencies in their game?

I saw the reference in another thread to Spanky McFarland's book on coaching pitchers, and wondered if there are any more good references out there.

Jerry Weinstein's "Baseball Coach's Survival Guide" has a two page chart (fig 5-1) for "Pitching Approach Guidelines."

My favorite is :

Characteristic: "Takes lots of pitches"
Approach" "Throw Strikes"

Try a google search, I am sure somebody has a chart somewhere that doesn't require the purchase of a book!
