Memorex,

I can not say anything about the academics there, becasue I just don't know. I have "heard" folks say that it is a tough education there, but do not know 1st hand.

The head coach Kevin Williams is a good one. He came to the program a few years back when baseball was not doing so well there and has turned that program around. He came from James Madison University (JMU). Coach Williams also has a JV program at Shenandoah.

Shenandoah University is a program on the rise, Coach Anderson and staff has won 71 games in his first 3yrs. That is most wins ever in a 3yr period at the school.

Coach Renegar, assistant coach/recruiting coordinating is 1st class.

They are straight baseball at SU, no gimmicks and Coach Anderson is very high on student/athletes going to class and making the grades. Coach Anderson will do every possible to ensure that you son will graduate except doing the work for them. I think the teams overall GPA last year was around 2.9 … they have a few big recruits coming in this year that just may propel them to the top of the highly regarded USA-South this year.
