I've received an email asking about the removal of a recent thread. Any thread removed by myself has first involved a pm to that poster explaining the rational behind that action. I didn't remove the thread in question but I know that when it was removed, the poster understood our concerns. SO, NO THERE WASN'T ANY CLOAK AND DAGGER AND COACHB25 DIDN'T PUT HIS AGENDA BEFORE ANYONE ELSE'S AND REMOVE A THREAD BECAUSE HE DIDN'T LIKE IT. In fact, that particular poster requested that we help with the removal of that thread.
Do You Know Who's Watching? Often on message boards such as this, posters vent, criticize, put forth their agendas, etc. However, you would be amazed at the following of this site. Yes, some of your bosses read it. Yes, the IHSA checks in. Yes, college coaches stop by. Yes, some of the top baseball people in America check to see what's up. Therefore, a word of the wise, if people know who you are or you post material that easily makes your identity known, be prepared for reprocussions should you engage in negative behaviours, posts etc.
FYI, my bosses know who I am, know what my identity on this site is and the frequency of posting. They support it as long as I portray my school in a positive light, do my best for my kids and do not engage in negative behaviors that embarasses our school. IMHO, you'd do well to ask yourself if you're taking the high or low road. Pick the high and you'll be fine.
Have a GREAT DAY!
BTW, I'M POSTING THIS FROM HOME!!! I FINALLY HAVE THE INTERNET AT HOME. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
