Or.. or a desperate snake. That could do it. Ask someone how today's Lane game went. Just don't ask me, I might slip into language that would ban me from the forums.

BTW Careful with guarantees? Careful with "3-peat"! Didn't someone copyright that? :-)[/QUOTE
I was there!! There was NO GAME.

At Downers Grove North...

DGN 4 - Hinsdale South 3

They could meet again Wednesday in the playoffs if Hinsdale South beats Fenton on Tuesday.

HS got all three runs on a triple (one hop to the right center fence with two runners on) by Gary Mayberry. DGN had an error on the play at third allowing Gary to score as well.

This was the make-up game (9-1 Bottom 5th) of the protested contest that started on Wed. We replayed the game again from the beginning today.
We will choose to be the bigger person and drop the matter and move on.

Gotwood, how'd you get a pic of my car? We're not hitting on all cylinders and took a tough loss to Edwardsville last night. We lost 9-5 with Evil scoring 4 runs in the 6 th. They have a very nice team and the All-State candidate Todd Baumgartner played flawlessly.

Lane pulls off a miracle trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the 7th. A GREAT HS Baseball game where both teams played so hard. I am very proud of our boys coming back after going through all of the CPS BS and coming through having to play 3 games in less than 24 hours.

Don't get too excited, Dodgers.

You likely didn't see any of Lockport's better pitchers.

They don't pitch their better pitchers against a team that they are likely to see down the road.

What’s up with the attitude recently? How is putting the score in getting excited?
Who made you the judge, jury, and executioner?

This is the best time of the year for HS Baseball, please don’t deter anyone from getting excited about their team.

Isn't that what this is about?

Where did I get the pic of your car? I know one of Jesse White's tumblers...good kid...knows how to work those Sec.of State computers.

Sorry that your team isn't firing on all cylinders. It's always tough to take a loss against a close rival. You showed a lot of class by publicly giving Baumgartner your kudos and respect.

One piece of advice concerning your car...go easy on the Beef-A-Reeno!
Riverside Brookfield HS 12
Stagg HS 8 or 9 (lots of lightbulbs burnt out on RB's scoreboard)

Justin Ringo launches a ball 405' to straight away right field. Thank goodness the giraffe wasn't peeking over the fence at the Brookfield Zoo next door because Justin's ball would have made him pay. The Brookfield Zoo happens to be the owner of RB's baseball and softball field...real close quarters there.
