Leyden - 5
Hinsdale South - 2
F/8

Anthony Even, 2 run HR. Tim Mackey had a 2 run double to put us ahead in the 8th, his 3rd game winning RBI this year.

Game ended on a terrible, terrible play. Bases loaded, weak roller down the line. Our pitcher fielded it, missed the tag as the runner slid under.

The ump called the runner out of the baseline.

Leyden 15-4 (7-3)

The Daily Herald has DuPage County stats on either the Thursday or Friday edition each week. Position players must be hitting at least .333 and pitchers I'm not sure of the minimum. The coach has to submit them to the paper. Some do and some don't. Ours doesn't until after the season is over.

Thanks MJD.
It's been a while since it seems like we have been playing everyday to try and get these make-ups in.
We have gone undefeated the last couple weeks in our league (6-0) sandwiched by Sat. one-run loses to Schaumburg and Rolling Meadows.
We are starting to hit the ball better and we called up a big OX from the class of '10 who seems to have sparked our offense. We will be very dangerous if we can get the bats rolling.

If you want to see a good one we will be @ Clemente Thursday May 10th @ 4:30pm. If both teams hold serve early in the week this one will be for the conference championship.

Keep working hard,
Justin Stringer
