HCC is located in Tampa and actually plays at the New York Yankees spring training complex. Gary Calhoun has been at the school for a long time but can't tell you alot about his coaching style or philosophy. The area is very well recruited by 4 year schools and scouted professionally. paballplayer, I noticed that your location is Texas. A Hillsboro J.C. is in Texas. Are you referring to this school or to HCC in Tampa?

i actually talked to this school a small bit,one of my friends was geting looked at him and they were in need of outfielders and was going to try to set up a package deal but it never fell through, and i wasnt that intrested anyway but ive seen a bunch of these guys on 4yr schools and scouted pretty good. but ive heard the area down there isnt to good,so ive heard but dont take mine lol
My son went to HCC. Coach Calhoun is a class act. The level of baseball is very competitive with several players drafted while my son was there.
