I always see thes invites to chat but have never figured out how to do it. can you tell me

Go to the left of this page near the "green" area and a menu will pop out. Click on "Chat Room" and you'll just about be there!

jme - you first have to download a java virtual machine (jvm).

Here is a website to do just that:

After loading, you can select the chat room from the sidebar menu to the left. Use a screen name like jmepop but any screen name will do (e.g., jme).

Tried that and I seem to get a page with a red x in the corner. I also just went thru some windows sign up thing that popped up and signed onto it but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I'm not a computer geek...far from it...but I'm not sure that the download of Java was successful for you...I think that little X means that your java program is not either not running, or not available as it never downloaded in the first place...I'd retry the download...

Sort of like giving medical advice on the HSBBW...YIKES!
