JUCO baseball in NH?

Check the NJCAA website, does not look like there are any schools in NH, but some in surrounding states.

The NJCAA doesn't list any. I've looked further. For those of you that are looking, there ARE community colleges in NH with baseball.

One team is NHTI - New Hampshire Technical Institute. This team plays in the NNESCC conference.

we don't have any that play a spring schedule. but along the 495 corrodor there are one oe two, worcester has 2 i think.

conn has a few more, they are there but you need to look a little.

There are a handful of Juco's in Massachusetts. Northern essex community college has a great program and has a few of players from New Hampshire on its roster.

My son played for the NHTI team this fall. they have a good coaching staff, and an above average team. Overall he had a good experience and is taking tough coarses that will transfer when he is ready. This winter they have full access to a very good indoor training facility which I think is going to be very helpful.

Our program was recently cut in CT for budget purposes, but in NH, I'd go to Northern Essex CC. Chris Shanahan does an excellent job up there...I know 3 of his kids got NAIA scholarships last year...we beat them 1-0 to get to the JUCO World Series...I'm almost positive (20dad can help) that kids that are near the NH/MA line are able to pay in-state fees to go to NECC. NECC and Massasoit are now the 2 best D-III JUCO's in the region.

i'm not sure about instste tuition but vit was extremely cheap in comparision to a 4 yr school. the down side is no housing, thats why they are d3 i think. i'd be happy to help anyone get some interest, it's my son with the pull not me.

Thanks...tell Chris I still have a couple of guys to place for next summer if he has the need. 2 pitchers and a catcher. They played in the Future's League, Perfect Game League, and the NECBL last summer, but with the transition to new schools, they might be behind in the process for getting on a summer roster.
