Kershaw in Futures Game

Clayton Kershaw gave up a homer in relief at he All-Star Futures Game at AT&T Park on Sunday.

Kershaw allowed a walk and a home run in two-thirds of an inning out of the bullpen in a 7-2 loss.

The Futures Game pits the elite minor league American players against the top foreign minor league players.

Kershaw was selected with the seventh pick by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the '06 draft.

Kershaw is 7-3 with 2.12 ERA and 103 strikeouts in 15 starts with Single-A Great Lakes

Prior to the Future's Game, Kershaw had only given up 1 home run in 113.1 innings of pitching in the minor leagues.
