First of all, thank your lucky stars for a coach that will help his kids - not all do. Our high school players get no help from the coach. My son signed with a junior college. I found the tryout information myself on the school's website, took him there and fortunately he showed well. Another kid, a pitcher on our team pitched 53 innings, 1.05 ERA, 8-0 record, struck out 48 and walked just 5 batters, and was named to the state all star game. He's walking on at the school he is going to. Neither of these guys got any help from the H.S. coach. Your guy is a blessing if he is out beating the bushes for your players.
Marina,

If no one has told you, it is very stressful right up to the point where your son decides to go or do. Just be honest and have a great attitude. Most of all, be sure to enjoy the ride before you know it he will be done with High School. This site has a large amount of information to help as a guideline. The forum people are a huge wealth of information and they will help you all the way throughout the process. You just need to ask the question Smile
