Letters from Colleges

My son (HS Junior) has received introductory letters from 3 colleges requesting that he fill out a recruiting form for the respective college. We are new to this so I was wondering how to take this, is it truely interest in him or a way to get him to participate in camps to bring in $$. More than likely they saw his profile on a recruitment site (has his bio and some video clips)as he has only attended one showcase when he was a freshman.

If they ask for information you fill out the forms---it is a sign of interest---you don't have to attend their camps--but always send back a note that "I am busy that weekend with other baseball committments"

No questionnaire shall not be returned is my motto--0-0
