May be a topic for another thread, but can somebody please explain that interference call? Never seen that called before and simply cannot understand the reasoning behind it. From a logic standpoint, upon ball four, the hitter is now a base runner so how can he be called for batter's interference? Just don't get it.

Eliot Soto (Dundee Crown) playing High A for the Daytona Cubs had a nice opening series in the playoffs. He played flawless at short and also lead the team in hitting with a .600 avg over the 3 games series.

Baseball America, in their list of the top 100 college players for the 2012 MLB draft has Scott Firth (Stevenson '09) listed as #73. Firth did quite well in the Cape Cod league this year, making the All Star team, although he did take the loss.
Another local player Jerad Grundy (Johnsurg '09)is also listed in the top 100 college players for 2012 Draft at #57. That's two Kentucky pitchers listed in the top 100. Walt Wijas (Conant '09) will also play a key role as part of Kentucky's pitching staff.
