I don't think Ryne will have problems with wood at the "Cape".

Purdue Sophomore (St Rita) first baseman Ryne White was a unanimous choice by the Big Ten head coaches as a member of the first team all-conference squad.
White (Chicago, Ill.) was the Big Ten Conference leader in batting average (.463), slugging percentage (.676), on-base percentage (.550) and hits (50) in conference action, but was bested for the Big Ten Player of the Year honor by Illinois' Lars Davis, who was the league's home run champion.
Through games of Sunday, May 20, White's .452 batting average is the third-highest in NCAA Division-I.
Hard to believe that Joe Benson, Connor Powers and Ryne White were very close to being teammates at Purdue.
Congrats to all three.

Not to keep harping on it, but today, Brad Altbach pitched 7.1 innings, allowing 2 runs (2 homers in the 8th) against Mo. State leading Bradley to an 8-3 win in an elimination game in the MVC tournament. Tonight, Bradley, again in a must win situation, gets a rematch against Creighton.
Congratulations to Daniel Molnar, freshman at Emory University. Dan is hitting .341 with a slugging percentage about .510.
Emory is playing today in the Championship game for the Division 3 World Series title. Good luck Daniel and the Eagles. IMO, there's a lot to be said about playing at a top Div 3 academic and baseball university. Kind of the best of both worlds.

Daniel has always been a hitting machine.
Congrats to Daniel and the Molnar family.
