Great article. One of the nicest kids I have ever met (he played at the Jr. Sunbelt in Oklahoma with Team Georgia). Not surprising when you meet his mother. He comes from great stock.
he had impressive numbers at the high school he went to in Georgia. I believe his brother made the varsity team as a sophomore at a very tough baseball school within a good conference.
Francoeur comes from a family of teachers. His mother, Karen Francoeur, teaches math at Trickum Middle School in Lilburn, Georgia. His brother DJ is the assistant freshman baseball coach at Parkview High School. Jeff's sister Heather teaches English and coaches the girls basketball team at St. Pius X Catholic School. His father David is retired and does educational consulting.

When Jeff signs his next contract I don't think his family members will be working very much longer save just for the love of teaching however
