Has anyone heard of NCAA rule changes coming for baseball this month? I have heard that D1 coach mentioned to a 2013 recruit that there were some decisions coming. Thanks!

Not exactly sure what this coach might have been referring to, as there were no proposed rule changes just for baseball. There were some Div. I rule changes that had been voted in at the NCAA Convention in January, including texting to recruits, earlier off-campus contacts, and unlimited phone calls, but those were all suspended recently because of the large number of override requests submitted by Div. I schools. As a result, no changes at this time.
