That was more than creepy. My kids and wife caught those comments as well. My kids said that ol' announcer guy is a creeper. My wife turned to ask me if I've ever heard an announcer comment on how beautiful someone's girlfriend or wife is in the stands or on the sidelines. I said "no" in 50 years of watching sports that was a first for me. I was picturing Kirk Herbstreit cringing in the booth with creepy Brent after his comment.

As for the game, it was an a-s-s whooping. Let's drink to it.

While I don't get how Musberger is on the air appears on all these big games, what I don't get is what was so creepy what Musberger said. If you seen the girl, you could understand why. She's a knockout.

In the stands shots are not accidental. The production team knows where they are before the game. In big games it's network stars, former players and family members of players. Cutting to them is discussed in the production meeting. Musburger knew the shot was a possibility. What else was he going to say?

As for the woman's looks, I disagree if you move your eyes up above her neck. There are shots of her on Google that are not glam shots. If she was wearing a coat I would walk right by her without noticing. She's not unattractive. But her face is nothing special.

OK, OK...first I tried s-e-x-y and all I found were pictures that would not be considered suitable for this site. So I settled on tastefully absurd. Would this get-up make you turn your head RJM? How about if it were taken in mid July...in the Northern Hemisphere?

How do you get that emotional over someone you never actually met? Red flags should have been everywhere. Even if he is completely innocent of any wrongdoing, he led people to believe something that wasn't true. So in that sense he is guilty as those who pulled the wool over his eyes. He never once mentioned it was an online relationship and that he never met her in person. Had he said that, don't you think perception about him would have been different? People would have been trying to find out more. As it stands, he went on various shows telling his heartbreaking story and how he overcame his grief to still play football. This went on for months. He should have clarified his story. He didn't . So was he a victim of a hoax? Possibly. But he was also not forthcoming about details in the " relationship". What he should do is apologize in public for misleading people. Because had he said from the very start, his online girlfriend had died, this story never would have gotten as far as it did.
