I recently (after getting hooked on Fashion Police), got into the red carpet.

The Oscars are the World Series and Superbowl of Hollywood. Same for the Grammy's for the music industry.

It's entertaining, I love it!

It has always been a pet peeve of mine when actors and actresses get together for these things and gush about what brilliant inspired geniuses they all are and how important their work is as if to infer it is more important than that of a teacher, policeman, fireman, doctor, member of the military, construction worker, etc.
I gag every time.
I do like the "Oceans" movies though

Sorry, no Oscars. I had to rearrange the sock drawer last night.

I was flipping through channels last night and stopped on the Oscars long enough to see Billy Crystal in some song and dance routine. That 2 seconds was enough for me.

There was the NBA All Star game on last night.............yet I don't like the NBA so didn't watch it. I really don't care for most awards shows to be honest. I guess I'm not cultured enough because most of the time the movies who win things I've never heard of.

I was watching The Walking Dead last night. That show rocks. And I was also doing laundry too.

I don't know who won what, but J Lo was all over the news this morning.

There was a great alternative on last night though... "60 minutes" with the base jumpers in wing suits and Alex Honnold climbing the toughest mountain faces with no ropes. Amazing stuff.

That makes you and I opposites too, Dan. Doesn't matter (to me). I love what you do here and enjoy following Tyler's progression in MiLB (along with the kids I know in the Rays system).

I hope nobody here would take that stuff against another contributor here. There's a fair bit of political expression here on HSBBW. I hope that our shared love of baseball and the interests of our kids in the game takes precedence in all our interactions.
