Three years ago Commish Selig declared that there would be a day every year set aside during the season to honor the great Jackie Robinson--today is the day in MLB

For those who did not have the opportunity to see Jackie in action in person you have missed one of the greatest joys that baseball can ever give you--the man was unreal

Thank you Commish Selig for making it possible for the youth of today to be shown and made aware of what a great player Jackie Robinson was.

His place in history is more than justified
