When I try and throw and extend out with my plant leg I get a sharp pain through my hip flexor causing me to not follow through and use all arm, I also have no idea where the ball is going to end up after that. I kind of aggravated it during football three days ago which may play a role in what it is, but does anybody know how to get a stretch so it isnt so tight when I throw or just help relieve the pain im going to the TBR in a few weeks so ive been trying to throw on it and it isnt going well

Get yourself to a PT ASAP. Otherwise you're just asking for trouble. IMHO.

PT not PY
S had same issue come up on the stride side. At the advice of PC we went to PT with a focus on Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), which more than fixed the problem, and after "balloon" exercises his range of motion is better and it all "just works" better. YMMV
Go and see a PT immediately. My son had that pain after football season and before baseball started. He plays CF and runs like a deer but was hobbled badly with the hip flexor pain. The PT got him back on his feet and 100% quickly plus showed him exercises to do to keep it from flaring up again.
