If his stats for two years are not correct, are other stats for all the other players also incorrect?
There are errors on 1 other player I noticed at the time the error was made. That player got a loss when he left the game with 1 out and 2 on. We were up by 3. the next pitcher allowed both runs to score plus 2 others. He should have got the loss not the guy who left the game.
I don't question calls by a score keeper. I am talking about game runs are lower that the team stats. They don't add up. he showed 8 ers on the official game sheets and his team stats showed 9. Now the o6 stats are correct.
Are there hits that were rewarded to batters that may not be hits? Yes. One game the score keeper ruled an error and the annoncer agreed. The hitter was 3-4 that day. After the game the player was awareded a hit. According to their annouincers it was an error. They had a chuckle over it.
I remember 1 game where my son was put in and he pitched one inning and the score keeper hadn't showed him on the mound. That was corrected once the over sight was noticed.
