I pitch Tuesdays for HS team...pitch counts have been 101,87,89,110,and 80. way too many to begin with (which is being taken care of now), but i also play outfield monday, thursday, and saturday. All the rest of my starts this year i will not exceed 80 pitches (HS team rule). Arm has not been extremely sore; i run and after games and play long toss the day after. I also stretch a good amount and use the elastic bands every day along with icing. Just like to hear some opinions...too much throwing? Alternatives?
