Uneven - College Baseball Scholarship Issue

It's a huge mess but there is so much weight and inertia behind it that it's hard to imagine anyone entangling it all. Or even trying. It'd be far easily to simply blow it up and start from scratch, but that's a pipe dream.

When they were diving into the piece about lower income minorities being priced out of the game, my mind immediately raced to the USSSA and Triple Crown. While I am sure that both of those orgs provide some virtuous things, it's hard to see them when considering my son's travel ball teams starting at age 8 were paying $450-600 to play in 3-game guarantee tourneys for USSSA and something like $1500-3000 for 6-game guarantee Triple Crown tourneys. Where we're at, those were largely our only options.
