Didn't you hear ssmom...He's gone on the Amazing Race - he'll be gone for a while.

Woodrow has run out of pictures. Every conceivable picture known to man (and suitable for a family audience) has been posted already. My guess is he is reinventing himself and will soon dilluge us with audio bites.

Should we assemble a search party?

With all the clear-cutting he's doing, he keeps having to wander further and further from home.

If you'll all remember, GW4Sale goes missing every once in a while. The last time, I called in these guys and they made sure that he didn't alienate himself from the hsbaseball community.

SO were loooking for a red bike in a tree!

It's Iran-Contra all over again. Woodrow is on a secret government mission.. trees for nukes. Ollie North woulda done it but he was allergic to pungent outdoor odors. (Not the trees. The President of Iran.)

Amendidizitaman (something like that): "Wood for nukes? Are you serious?"

W4S: "Absolutely, see, we resell the nukes to North Korea so we can justify pointing the finger at them. That takes you off the hook, and you'll have lumber to boot."

Amendidizitaman: "One question. Can I troll at HSBBW?"

W4S: "Why not. You'd fit right in."

Maybe Woody is trying to tell us something

Gee folks...I sincerely appreciate your concern.

And I have really enjoyed your questions and responses...and the pictures!

I must say that iheartbb has nailed it. I am trying to tell you something.

And that something is that I have to be more scarce around here and devote more time towards finding employment, either within the lumber industry or perhaps even changing direction and finding work outside of the lumber business.

The lumber business in the Chicago area, that portion which is dependent upon new home construction, has really not been good for the past couple of years, and the prospect of a turn around of any sort keeps being forecast further into the future, unfortunately.

Most of what I had been involved with was heavily dependent on new home construction and I just can't wait for the elusive turnaround.

It is quite apparent that all of you are a creative bunch so if any of you have any ideas or suggestions as to how I can go forward with my search, I would appreciate the help. Seriously. Please PM me with your thoughts, if you wouldn't mind.
