2008 commits

Jim congrats to FOSTER on his commitment to Wofford. FOSTER is one of the players I really enjoyed coaching over the years. The one thing I admire about him is that he never gives up and nor does he make excuses on or off the field; he is a true competitor. Wofford really doesn’t know what they are getting but they will soon find out and say WOW. Also, he has played for DBAT longer than any player that has come through the organization; this will be his 7th year. By the way, let him know that when I come to a game he still has to have an extra bottle of water or gator aid for me. That has been our tradition for seven years.

Travis Jones - Highland Park HS - Dallas Giants - has committed to New Mexico State University

I am excited to announce that my son, Ben Mrachek (San Antonio Reagan - South Texas Sliders), has verbally committed to Dallas Baptist University!

Heard this weekend that Trey Frazier, Prestonwood Christian Academy and Dallas Mustangs, commited to DBU.

A great kid who I've been lucky enough to have a good friendship with over the past few years. I wish him, and the other DBU kids, nothing but the best. I know it'll be fun for them together.

Our kiddo,Bo Coffman, juco OF from Grayson, has committed to SFA. They have something good going on down there.

Huge congrats to Bo and his family! Bo played in the TCL All-Star game this past summer and will be a great asset to SFA. Way to go, Bo!

If "the poteet catcher" is in fact committed to Navarro they are getting a pretty cluth player!! Good for them!!!

Let's not drift into speculation and publish such as fact. Dillon -- please check your source. You may be right on target, I don't know. It may seem like a minor manner of semantics, but rumors can cause coaches to make assumptions regarding commitments, etc.

Ft. Worth Country Day. His best friend was also accepted (National Merit Scholar nominee). They are a top notch school and we have had a very good experience there academically.
