Yes my son has played them several times nas loves the school and the team. Real solid guys. He said 8 of them were drafted when I talked to him last night. He always brought his A game when he pitched against them.

In football the teams get a share. So do their conference. When the bowl games are listed in December they often have a dollar amount posted. That's the payout to the school.
TG - Aside from Notre Dame, bowl money goes to the respective conference, NOT the school.
Beez,
I was under the impression that schools get the money they get for bowl participation and winning.
I am not refering to conference games, but BCS games.

Not to veer off topic but my understanding is that revenue from bowl games goes to the respective conference. For example, when a Pac 10 team plays in the Rose Bowl, the conference gets about $14M (best guess). The revenue from the other bowls goes into the conference pot as well. Then the Pac 10 divies up the bowl proceeds among the conference members. I'm sure the actual bowl participant gets a higher cut of the proceeds but not necessarily ALL of the bowl revenue...if that makes any sense?
There was an article about it in USA today oce and Notre Dame, being an independant yet a BCS school, was the only one who got ALL the revenue but that share was since reduced.
I could be mixing up some details but think that's fairly accurate.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...."The 35 Man Roster".
