The greatest sporting event in the world starts tomorrow night.
With my team out...I am very excited to watch the Rangers take on the Cardinals and hope for seven hotly-contested games.
The first thing that comes to my mind is two different types of players that show up to the post season.
On one hand, I am happy to see superstars like Josh Hamilton and Albert Pujols play in the World Series. These two players were made for this stage.
On the other hand are lesser known names who rise to the top and play like they've never played before (or at least like most people haven't had the pleasure to watch). David Freese, Nelson Cruz, John Jay, etc.
It will be an absolute delight to watch all of these guys slug it out starting Wednesday in St. Louis.
